The WKR is a tensile angle bracket for buildings, designed to anchor timber frame and CLT walls under small to medium uplift loads. Optimised nailing patterns suit narrow frame studs, and certified raised installation lets it span a bedding grout, base plate or concrete kerb up to 370 mm high while managing site tolerances.
- Five heights from 95 to 530 mm for a range of wall and load requirements
- Optimised nailing patterns for timber frame and CLT, including narrow studs
- Full or partial fastening patterns for capacity design
- Certified for raised installation with a gap over a kerb, with a lock nut under the flange
- Suitable for solid timber, glulam, timber frame, CLT and LVL panels
- Timber-to-timber, timber-to-concrete and timber-to-steel configurations
- Material: WKR9530 in S250GD + Z275; WKR13535 to WKR53035 in S235 + Fe/Zn12c galvanised carbon steel
- Service class: SC1, SC2
- CE marked to ETA-22/0089
- Fasten with LBA nails or LBS screws on timber, VGS screws or HBS PLATE in timber-to-timber, and AB1, SKR, VIN-FIX, HYB-FIX or EPO-FIX M12 anchors on concrete, all supplied separately
