Shipping policy
You choose your delivery in the basket — the price and timeframe are shown before checkout, and the option you pick is exactly what you pay. Nothing extra is added at checkout.
1. Where we deliver
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only; we do not currently ship internationally. Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands may be excluded or carry a surcharge — if a surcharge applies we will contact you before dispatch.
2. Choosing your delivery
Your delivery is set in the basket and updates as your order grows:
Need it sooner, or ordering for a project? Request a quotation and we will arrange it.
3. Dispatch & timeframes
Timeframes are working-day estimates from order acceptance: to-order items 5–7 working days, UK-stock items 1–2 working days. We are not liable for delays outside our control (weather, carrier, customs); we will keep you informed. Unless agreed otherwise, delivery is within 30 days of acceptance.
4. Oversized or palletised orders
Very large or heavy orders may need bespoke freight. If yours does, we will contact you with the options and cost before dispatch.
5. Receiving your order
Someone must be available to accept and sign for the delivery. Inspect the goods on arrival, note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork, photograph it and notify us within 48 hours.
6. Tracked delivery
All orders are sent tracked, UK-wide.
7. Faulty or damaged goods
Please inspect goods on delivery. Note any damage on the delivery note and notify us within 48 hours with photos. See our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy for the remedy process.
8. Split shipments
Orders may arrive in more than one delivery at no extra cost.
9. Ownership and risk
Title to the goods passes to you when we receive payment in full. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you provide, or to a person you have nominated to receive the goods.
10. Delivery through carriers
We arrange delivery through third-party carriers. Some orders are drop-shipped — sent directly from our supplier to your delivery address — so you may receive goods in one or more shipments. We share tracking where available and keep you informed of your order's status. If a carrier loses or damages an order in transit, tell us within 48 hours (see section 5) and we will put it right in line with your statutory rights and our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy. For orders placed on a business (trade) account, risk and any carrier claims pass to you on dispatch unless we agree otherwise in writing.
11. Delivery address accuracy
You are responsible for giving us a complete and accurate UK delivery address, together with any access notes, when you place your order. We deliver to the address and instructions you provide.
We strongly recommend using an established, staffed address and avoiding unattended or unnamed sites — for example a construction site with no clear address or no one available to receive and sign for the goods.
We are not responsible for failed, delayed or misdirected deliveries caused by an incomplete, incorrect or undefined address, or by no one being available to accept the goods. In these cases a redelivery fee of £15 per attempt, or the cost of re-shipping, may apply, and any loss arising from an address you provided is your responsibility.
