If you can't find a product, contact us — we can source anything from the Rothoblaas catalogue.

Yes — minimum order is one box. No minimum order value, though FREE delivery applies on orders over £500.

Yes — we have access to the complete Rothoblaas catalogue including products not listed on our website. Contact us for unlisted products, custom quantities or project volumes.

Yes — we have in-house structural engineers specialising in mass timber, CLT and glulam connections. Send us a drawing or sketch and we'll respond within 24 hours with a scope and fee estimate.

Eurocode 5 is the European structural design standard for timber. All our structural calculations are produced to Eurocode 5 and are compliant with UK Building Regulations. We're familiar with the UK National Annexes.

Yes — connection design for CLT, glulam and timber frame is our core expertise. We can design connections using Rothoblaas products and produce calculations, drawings and fixing schedules.

Yes — we produce structural calculations and drawings suitable for building control submission. We can also liaise with building control on your behalf if required.

Engineering fees are quoted on a project basis. Simple connection checks start from £500. Full structural packages for mass timber projects are quoted individually. Contact us for a fee estimate.

Choose your delivery in the basket. Orders over £500 ex VAT ship FREE in 5–7 working days. Under £500, to-order items arrive in 5–7 working days, and in-stock items can ship from UK stock in 1–2 working days when express dispatch is available.

Not as a standard service. In-stock items ship from UK stock in 1–2 working days when express dispatch is available. Need it sooner than the stated times? Request a quote and we'll price real speed for your order case by case.

You confirm it in the basket. Orders over £500 ex VAT: FREE (5–7 working days). Under £500: £50 to order (5–7 working days), or £15 from UK stock (1–2 working days) when available. Delivery only ever gets cheaper as your order grows. No per-item fees.

We currently ship to mainland UK only. For Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and islands, contact us for a delivery quote. We do not ship to Republic of Ireland or Europe at this time.

Large project orders are delivered by pallet freight to your site or fabricator's yard. We coordinate delivery timing with you in advance and provide tracking information.

In your basket. We show one clear option for your order, and the price and timeframe update as your order grows — delivery only ever gets cheaper. Orders over £500 ex VAT ship free. Nothing extra is added at checkout: the option in your basket is exactly what you pay.

Use our Request a Quotation page — build your list (start from your basket or search any product by SKU), set your quantities, add any notes, and send it to us. We'll reply with a formal quote. It's the best route for large volumes, trade accounts, or when you need delivery sooner than the standard times.

Please give us a complete, accurate UK address and make sure someone is available to accept and sign for the goods. We recommend an established, staffed address and advise against unattended or unnamed sites, such as a construction site with no clear address. If a delivery fails because of an incomplete address or no one being available, a redelivery fee of £15 per attempt may apply — see our Shipping Policy for details.

Yes — trade accounts receive automatic price discounts shown when logged in. Discounts increase at 5+ boxes, 25+ boxes and project volume tiers. Contact us to discuss bespoke project pricing.

Yes — Net 30 credit terms are available for established contractors after a first successful order. Apply by contacting our accounts team. We may request trade references for new accounts.

Yes — for large project orders we offer bespoke pricing outside our standard website prices. Send us your fixing schedule or bill of materials and we'll provide a competitive project quote.

Yes — every order comes with a full VAT invoice. Our VAT registration number is GB 489884695. We are UK VAT registered.

Yes — Rothoblaas sources materials from certified sustainable suppliers and holds multiple environmental certifications. Their manufacturing facilities in Bolzano, Italy operate to high environmental standards.

Yes — our CLT and glulam supply partners (Arboreal and Xlam Dolomiti) offer FSC and PEFC certified products. Documentation is available on request for planning and building control submissions.

Yes — we work with One Click LCA to provide Life Cycle Assessment support for mass timber projects. LCA is increasingly required for planning applications and BREEAM/LEED certification.

Timber construction typically produces 60–90% less embodied carbon than equivalent concrete structures. Each cubic metre of structural timber sequesters approximately 1 tonne of CO₂ — making mass timber one of the most climate-positive building choices available.
