Round head screw with a cylindrical shoulder designed for fastening perforated steel plates to timber. The shoulder achieves an interlocking effect with the hole in the plate, guaranteeing excellent static performance in steel-to-timber connections.
These can be calculated to Eurocode 5 for thick steel-timber plate connections, even with thin metal elements, with excellent shear strength values. Ductile behaviour is proven by SEISMIC-REV cyclic testing to EN 12512.
- Cylindrical shoulder interlocks with the plate hole for high shear performance
- Tested and certified for CLT, glulam, LVL, OSB and Beech LVL
- LBS5 up to 40mm approved without pre-drilling on Beech LVL
- ETA-11/0030 certified, UKCA marked (UKTA-0836 22/6195)
- Drive: TX20 (Ø5mm), TX30 (Ø7mm), bit included
- Material: electrogalvanised carbon steel
- Service class SC1 to SC2, atmospheric corrosivity C1 to C2
