Pan head screw for fastening perforated and custom steel plates to timber. The under-head shoulder interlocks with the circular hole in the plate, while the edgeless head geometry reduces stress concentration and adds strength, guaranteeing excellent static performance.
The increased inner core diameter on the Ø8, Ø10 and Ø12 screws raises performance in thick plate applications, achieving a strength increase of more than 15% in steel-to-timber connections. The 3 THORNS tip reduces minimum installation distances, so more screws fit in less space.
