Pan head screw for fastening steel plates to timber in outdoor and corrosive environments. The under-head shoulder interlocks with the circular hole in the plate and the edgeless head geometry reduces stress concentration, guaranteeing excellent static performance.
The C4 EVO coating was tested to atmospheric corrosion class C4 by RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden), making it suitable for ACQ and CCA treated timber and acidic woods such as spruce, larch and pine. The increased core diameter raises thick plate performance by more than 15% in steel-to-timber connections.
