TITAN V is a heavy-duty angle bracket for shear and tensile joints in timber walls subject to very high stress. Its holes for inclined VGS Ø11 full-thread screws deliver exceptional performance in timber-to-timber connections.

  • Tensile capacity up to 101.0 kN and shear capacity up to 73.1 kN characteristic
  • Inclined VGS screws allow inter-storey walls of different thickness to be fastened together
  • Reduced vertical flange height allows concealed installation within floor panels; 4 mm steel
  • A single bracket type covers both shear and tensile wall fastening, with an optional XYLOFON acoustic profile
  • Fastened with LBA Ø4 nails or LBS Ø5 screws plus VGS Ø11 full-thread connectors
  • Material: S275 steel with Fe/Zn12c coating; patented design
  • Service class SC1 and SC2; ETA-11/0496; UK assessment UKTA-0836-22/6373
