Round head screw for fastening perforated steel plates to timber, engineered for high density hardwoods. A special tip with embossed slit elements allows installation without pre-drilling, with ETA-11/0030 approval for structural applications stressed in any direction relative to the grain.
The internal thread diameter is increased over the standard LBS to ensure tightening in the densest woods. In steel-to-timber connections this can deliver more than 15% additional strength.
- No pre-drilling required on beech, oak, cypress, ash, eucalyptus and bamboo
- Tested and certified for beech LVL (Microllam) up to 800 kg/m³
- Cylindrical shoulder interlocks with the plate hole for high shear performance
- ETA-11/0030 certified, UKCA marked (UKTA-0836 22/6195)
- Drive: TX20, bit included
