DISC FLAT is a fully concealed, removable steel connector for beam and column joints in timber-to-timber, timber-to-steel and timber-to-concrete configurations. A central pass-through rod clamps the elements together, so the connection resists forces in all directions and can be tightened after assembly. Ideal for hybrid structures, exposed architectural connections and demountable or temporary buildings.
- Completely concealed joint for a clean architectural finish
- Resists shear, lateral and axial forces in all directions via through-rod clamping
- Can be prefabricated off-site and fastened on-site with a single bolt
- Fully removable thanks to the pass-through rod, suitable for temporary structures
- Suitable for solid softwood and hardwood, glulam and LVL
- Material: S235 carbon steel, bright zinc plated (Fe/Zn5c)
- Service class: SC1, SC2
- CE marked under ETA-19/0706
- Screws and bolt not included; use Rothoblaas LBS / LBS EVO screws plus a KOS bolt and washer
