Timber Frame Wall System: Thermal and Moisture Control
Information
Timber frame wall systems feature thermal insulation fitted between the studs, with OSB panels on both sides. On the interior face, a vapor control membrane is installed to prevent moisture from migrating through the wall and to help retain heat during winter.
Interior studs are finished with nail plaster to seal around fasteners, ensuring any openings created by the fixing systems remain waterproof.
